When starting out at mobsters, the first and most important thing players need is to have as large a mob as possible. There are several ways to build a large mob. First, players can invite all of their friends to join their mob. Secondly, players can send invites to other players, but those players must first be friends on myspace.
There are several sites that will assist a player in adding others to their mob. Spuko.com, Mobsteradd.com, and Sumob.com are the best three sites to use in order to start increasing your mob size.
Building an Income on Mobsters
In order to build up an income, players need cash to purchase properties. There are two ways to acquire cash in the game; the first and easiest is by performing missions. Another way is by attacking rival mobs. Players that successfully attack a rival are able to steal some cash away from their enemy.
The properties that are purchased generate an hourly income. The more properties a player owns, the higher his hourly income. Players need to build an income because all of the weapons, body armor, and vehicles that will be used in a fight require some upkeep that count against a player’s income.
The higher a player’s income, the more it costs an enemy to “place a hit” on that player, so increasing income is one of the highest priorities in the game.
Attacking/Defending on Mobsters
Regardless of how many mobsters a player has, at level 1 they can only fight with 5. Every time a player levels up, they can use 5 more until they get to level 100 and max out with 500 mobsters. Players are allowed to have more than five hundred mobsters, but can only use 500 in a fight.
In order to successfully attack other mobs or to defend themselves against attacks, players need to be sure that each of their mobsters is fully armed. Each mobster needs to be equipped with a weapon, body armor, and a vehicle.
There are many different types of weapons, vehicles, and body armor that become available as players progress through the game and each one is rated with a different attack/defense rating. The higher the rating, the more damage the weapon does to an enemy.
The game automatically chooses which weapons are used based on the attack/defense rating. So, players need to have two sets of weapons, one set for when they attack rival mobs and another set to defend themselves with.
The game uses the weapons attack/defense rating along with the available skill points a player has to determine which mob emerges victorious from a fight. To learn how to take advantage of the Top Mob feature, try the Myspace Mobsters Tips - Top Mob Secrets article.
