There are two reasons for using the Top Mob feature on Mobsters. The first and most important is that is a tool for receiving more energy to perform more missions. Also, it can be used for acquiring more cash.
Top Mob Energy Feature
In order to get the most out of the Top Mob Energy, it is important to find other mobsters that always return energy. However, sometimes this can be a trial and error process. Some mobsters always return energy and others never do.
The game allows players to send up to 16 energy boosts every day. As each boost is worth 10 points, that means players can receive 160 more energy if all the mobsters that receive a player’s energy boosts return that energy.
Some players like to take advantage of what is called a 20/20 energy send. When a player sends someone energy, that same player can return that energy send, then place that same person in their own Top Mob and send them an energy boost. When the original energy sender returns the second boost, both players receive an additional 20 energy points, but each send counts against the 16 total boosts.
When a player runs out of energy sends for the day, that player can still receive and return energy that other players send, and many players take advantage of this feature by requesting via the Broadcast that other players send them energy.
The game also allows players to collect an additional 200 energy that doesn’t count against their 16 Top Mob energy boosts. To collect this 200 energy, simply go to the App Notifications section in the Myspace Mail Center and scroll click “Accept” on the Mobsters Notification.
Top Mob Cash Feature
The game allows players to collect a cash bonus from each mobster in the Top Mob. The amount of the bonus is based on the hourly income of that player. The higher that player’s hourly income, the more cash a player can collect.
However, the total amount a player can collect is limit by his own hourly income. So, increasing hourly income is one of the highest priorities in the game.
